1. I believe whatever doesn’t kill you makes you into a better person.

2. If you’re good at something, shine at it then share with others.

3. Why so happy? What have you been up too?

4. Something is out there, it’s just waiting to say hello.

5. If my life were a sitcom, it would be titled “Forties and Fabulous”.

6. Sitting on my back porch [if you don't have one, use your imagination] I see my pool, banana trees, palms, hibiscus plants, and a couple hummingbird feeders. If I look to my right I usually see some cows grazing and a few horses in the field next to our house. It’s very relaxing out there!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to grilling steaks and having a dirty martini, tomorrow my plans include working in our yard and Sunday, I want to enjoy being with my honey!

Want to wish everyone a very happy 4th of July! While you are enjoying the day with family and friends, take a moment to remember our men and women serving our country at home and abroad! Wave your flag with pride, and let Freedom Ring!

1. Holidays in the summer are filled with so many fun activities, volleyball, badminton, croquet, Bar-B-Q, swimming, the list is endless!

2. Steaks, asparagus, squash, & zucchini, are my favorite things to grill.

3. My thoughts are preoccupied with what all I need to finish before our party.

4. Partying is what I’m most looking forward to this weekend!

5. My favorite book (series) so far this summer is Karen Monings Highlander series.

6. Sitting on my patio with a cup of coffee and a good book is the best way to begin a day.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to our 4th of July party, tomorrow my plans include recovering from our 4th of July party and Sunday, I want to do whatever the day brings forth, hoping it’s being lazy in the pool!
