2. Current candle scents: Water Lily

3. What I am currently reading: New Moon by Stephanie Meyer, 2nd in the Twilight series….I just now got around to reading these, and they are really good!

4. Newest music I added to my playlist: Kate Rusby, The Girl Who Couldn’t Fly, I spend way too much downloading from ITunes!!!

5. Movies I saw: I haven’t been to the theater in awhile, but I just watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which I enjoyed very much! I haven’t watched a lot of movies this summer, been to busy!

6. Something yummy I made this month: This salad I made for myself when I was home alone…mixed greens, baby spinach, red & yellow peppers, sugar snap peas, cucumber, feta cheese, sea salt and pepper croutons with Paul Newman’s Oil & Vinegar dressing…it was yummy!!

7. The last place I ate out: Logan’s Roadhouse

8. Something that made me : My arm, I hurt it somehow, don’t have a clue how, but it hurts so bad it has brought me to my knees at times. Went to the doctor and he took some x-rays so I’m waiting to hear what he says. Thank heaven for drugs, legal ones of course! Not a good time for this…we leave for vacation on Tuesday!!!

9. Something that made me laugh: Ok, this sounds bad….but today there was a rat in the pool (UGH!!) but watching him swim with only his pointy nose out of the water was quite comical. I wasn’t touching him, not even with the pole, so he was on his own till Brandon got home. Brandon rescued him and sent him on his merry way in the field next door…so in other words, he’ll be back.

10. Something I looked forward to this month: Was our 4th of July party! We had a blast!

11. Something I am thankful for: That my step-dad is doing so great!!

12. Something I want to remember about this month: All the fun we have had as a family doing things together.

13. A photo I took this month: One photo??

It’s random again, because…well, because.
D has finished his Master’s! Graduation is a week from Friday! I’m so very proud of him! It hasn’t been easy, he is a husband, a father, a provider and got his Master’s with a 4.0…now that’s my hero!
It’s been so freakin’ hot here, so far over 100° every day!! The heat index, 105° let me tell you people, that is hot! Even our pool temp is in the 90’s!
I had a doctor’s appointment this week. One of those well woman check ups… I look forward to those like the plaque. I ended up getting a tetanus shot since it’s been ten years since my last, my arm is so dang sore!
Now I have date with the dermatologist for a biopsy for a spot found on my breast…of course, the soonest they could get me in was the first week in September. Nice to keep me waiting.
I’ve been using the website GoodReads lately (Thanks Stacy!) and love it! It’s a wonderful way to keep track of your library and find new books to read! If you use GoodReads, add me as a friend, if you don’t, sign up and then add me!
D and I are planning a “mini” vacation after his graduation. We can’t do what we really wanted because he has business trips scheduled before and after the time we can go. We can’t decide where to go though since we will only have six days, leaving on a Tuesday and being back on Sunday. Any suggestions?

I need a housekeeper….( I know random, but that’s the name of the list! ) So not in the mood to clean house!
I cannot believe that July is almost over! Is it me or is time just flying by?
I did something I haven’t done in ages, worked on a jigsaw puzzle! As a kid my grandmother and I use to do them all the time! I missed that, so I started one today!
We finally got some rain!!! Though being under thunderstorm warnings aren’t cool.
