1. Birthdays are for celebrating, which we will be doing this weekend. My baby girl turns 20 today!

2. Fall is my favorite season because Fall colors are so beautiful. It’s one thing I will miss about Georgia. Texas just doesn’t have the same gorgeous colors.

3. I feel my best when I am myself.

4. Cheese (and I can’t eat much of it on this *&#@ diet!) is my favorite food!

5. First impressions are lasting impressions.

6. The best piece of advice I ever received was “if people can’t accept you for who you are, then they are not worth your time or effort.” Took me awhile, but I learned that I didn’t need people like that in my life.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to chillin’ with the girls , tomorrow my plans include celebrating my daughter’s 20th birthday with family and friends at a wonderful restaurant and Sunday, I want to rest, but I won’t be able to because we will be doing some errands and then working around the house in preparation for our 4th of July party!

1. It’s a week of celebrating here, my “baby,” Miss Priss turns 20! I will no longer have teenagers in the house!

2. We are celebrating her birthday at a really neat restaurant that we love. The chef is five star, the food…DELICIOUS! We are having a few family and friends to share the night with us, per her request.

3. We are having a big cookout for 4th of July that I’m trying to get everything ready for, nothing huge, around 20 people but when I plan a party, I like to do it up! It shall be fun, food, drink, swimming, volleyball, badminton, and fireworks!

4. I did some planting today, wanted to get it done before our 4th party. We’ll be working on more this weekend. But at least I got the two beds done in the front under the trees. I planted Black Foot Daisies and Deep Pink Phlox, looks great and adds depth and color!

7. Still have weeding and more planting to do in the BIG flower beds around the house. They have so much greenery but no color. I want color, so we are going to plant some nice pretty flowers. Brandon and Brit have volunteered to help, aren’t they the sweetest? Think the fact that we offered to pay them may have helped? (It’s to help with wedding or whatever, that’s what parents are for. )

8. My sister, Sheeshintx has FINALLY started a blog!!! I’m so excited! Please go say Hi to her at her blog, 4ofakind!

9. My niece has been staying with us during the week, it’s been fun having her here, though I forgot how dramatic 12 year olds are!! Or how OBSESSED they get with teen idols!! If I hear “Jonas Brother” one more time I am going to scream!!

10. Funny story, she had to tell me about her dream she had about the Jonas brothers, so being the great, wonderful aunt I am I listened, and listened, and listened. Folks it took her twenty minutes to tell the dream! So I solved that dilemma for the next time, got her a journal and told her to WRITE down her dreams! Can you tell I’ve, been there, done that!

12. Last week I posted my SAS Bag’s and I received my last package of bags the day after! Here are the last five bags all the way from the UK! Aren’t they awesome?!
