Taking a break…..

Well, if you haven’t noticed already there’s not been much action here at the garden. There’s many reasons why, and I’m not willing to share them yet, so I’m going to take a break. I’m not very creative at the moment right now either, so believe me, it’s best for all of us! I’m hoping that inspiration hits me again and life returns to some normalcy soon. I’m not gone completely, I still have my Facebook active, so drop by and say hi when you get a chance.

Goodbye My Sweet Girl

My sweet baby girl Rocky, left us yesterday in her sleep. I’m so thankful she went peacefully, but to say I miss her is an understatement. She was my best friend, she knew when I needed a cuddle, she knew when I was sick she’d come lay by me and she’d make me laugh, even when I didn’t think I had a laugh in me. Rocky was 13 years old and had a fulfilling life. Rocky came into our lives when friends blessed us with her when she was weaned from her momma and for thirteen years she blessed us. She was spoiled rotten, a pure diva, and the most beautiful cat ever in our eyes. She will be deeply missed for she was deeply loved.

I’m alive, just a little withered and trying to get my bloom back. It’s been very difficult and as you can see blogging has been put on the back burner. When you have no creativity flowing through your head you just can’t force a post. I’m not going to go into details of what I’ve been going thru right now, but it’s been extremely rough and I thank God for a loving, supportive husband and daughter who have been by my side through it all. I just wanted you to know I’m alive, and hopefully I’ll get a little more inspiration from time to time.

Hug someone today, you never know what a difference you might make.

1. Wait! Wait, don’t forget an important date!

2. I received the most beautiful card (along with a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet!) from my husband for our anniversary it was followed at once by me sobbing like fool.

3. The trouble is we have lots of leftovers and the fridge is overflowing!

4. Let’s run away, miles away, many miles away.

5. With a faint pop the cork left the bottle.

6. At 3:00 in the morning, everything looks shadowy and ominous.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to movie night with the hubby, tomorrow my plans include putting up the Christmas tree and Sunday, I want to finish decorating the house for Christmas!

I received this cutie to add to my collection from my daughter’s boyfriend, he surprised me with it and then told me he also designed Lisa’s (the fabulous artist of poppets!) banner on her Etsy store! Check it out!

Friday Fill In’s #150

1. The last band I saw live was Celtic Thunder.

2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is having a good dinner with my family, even if I have to cook.

3. My Christmas/holiday shopping has begun, my first gifts that I ordered arrived today via snail mail!

4. Thoughts of confusion fill my head.

5. I wish I could wear a hat but I look ridiculous in one.

6. Bagpipes are hauntingly beautiful.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to movie night, tomorrow my plans include chillin’ with my peeps and Sunday, I want to work on my crocheting (major project in the works!)
