TEN THINGS I HATED ABOUT SCHOOL
-
Math class. I even had a Math teacher beg me not to take his class again in high school that’s how bad it was.
-
Having to get up early. Can’t tell you how many times I went in late (in high school) because I couldn’t get up. It was convenient that I sounded like my mom on the phone.
-
The cliques, I refused to be categorized. I was me, a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
-
Riding the bus! You had to be at the bus stop so cottonpickin’ early!
-
Walking to school when I missed the bus (pre-license days), it was a good couple miles.
-
PE, I hated the bother of it, the having to dress out, get sweaty, and then get all dolled up for classes again. The coach liked me and usually sent me on errands
so I didn’t have to dress out! -
In the 4th grade, trying my hand at graffiti art in a bathroom stall and getting caught. I hated that day and I never tried that again!
- Biology. Dissecting animals was just too gross, my lab partner thank heaven liked me, so he did all the dirty work!
- Picture day! Because you always had to get your hair trimmed, and mom I love you but you sometimes got just a bit too scissor happy when it came to the bangs!
My sister and I have some “interesting” grade school photos! - I hate that no matter how hard you try, you lose touch with those friends you had from school once it’s over. I’ve only kept in touch with a few sporadically through the years.
