A photo challenge, I’m there! This one is the “Opening Doors Challenge” found over at Jientje’s blog, Heaven in Belgium. Click the link for the rules, it’s easy…it has to be a….door. 
This photo is of the front doors of the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Gothic Revival-style chapel built in 1873 was patterned after King Louis IX’s Sainte-Chapelle in Paris; a striking contrast to the adobe churches already in the area. This is a beautiful chapel one that should be on your “to see” list if you visit Santa Fe.
