Ok, my curiosity got the best of me…and I Googled the “Castle House!” Here’s what I found out and it’s quite interesting!
It was built by Rudy and Ruth McLaughlin approximately 25 years ago, it has 2 bedrooms, and is 1700 square feet. It is made of marble from Ball Ground, Georgia and granite from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He was a truck driver and he told his wife that one day he was going to build her a castle – this is the result. That is kinda sweet actually.

There is a moat that is actually a swimming pool, as you see the pool is in the back. I’m thinking they have their own “lazy river!” A pool equipment building mimicking the “castle” has been built behind the castle. It has what looks like two figurines on top of that building – of course with a diving board for the pool. There are two drawbridges that are believed to act as garage doors. There are gnome figurines on the column tops at the driveway entrances as well as on the peak in front of the castle.
Interesting, huh?
