The above is a new addiction. A long time ago in a land far away, I once had dreams of being a fashion designer. Life happened. I still love fashion and absolutely love to create different looks. If I had the “perfect” body and an unlimited cash supply, heaven help me I’d need a closet that is the size of my house!! And I have a HUGE house! But since that isn’t happening anytime soon, I am playing with this site Polyvore, and creating away!

Dreams, usually you wake up in the morning and you don’t remember what you dreamed the night before. Not me lately! I’m having the weirdest kind. I’m talking waking up and shaking my head wondering what the heck is going on kind of dreams! I wondered if it was something I ate the first night, but it’s been going on for weeks now.  So food is not the answer. I know some medication can make you have freaky dreams, but nothing has changed in that department either. I’ve pretty much cancelled out all the normal culprits, so what’s causing me to have these weird, very vivid dreams lately? I don’t have a clue and to tell you the truth, I really don’t like it! I’m not a rainbows and unicorns kind of gal, but these dreams are just too weird for me! People dying, fires, babies killed, see what I’m talking about? Horrible dreams and some have been extremely disturbing and the fact that I remember them is making it worse. I liked the nights when I had pleasant dreams, woke up not remembering what they were and went on my merry way for the day!

If anyone out there has an idea of why one dreams like this, let me know! Especially if you know how to make them stop! )

 Here’s hoping for a good night’s sleep with pleasant dreams!

It’s been over a year since I made a post in my little garden here and boy, has a lot happened in that year! One of the biggest is we moved from Texas to Georgia for the hubby’s job. We love Georgia and are so happy to be back here. Though it was hard leaving our son and daughter-in-law back in Texas, we do what we have too. Thankfully they have come to see us already. Our daughter moved with us, she is going to finish college here. It’s nice to have her with us and she loves it here also. She made lots of friends when we were here three years ago so she’s always busy!

After our precious Rocky passed, the house just wasn’t the same so somehow, someway we convinced the Mister into letting us adopt two kitties that are sisters. (He’s not a big fan of cats). They are now over a year old and the most spoiled little darlings! Mine is Elphie, named after “Elphaba” the witch from my all time favorite Broadway play “Wicked!”

Elphie’s sister is Bella, her name comes from Madame  Bellatrix Lastrange from “Harry Potter.” Yes, we named our cats after witches, was it a good idea? Probably not seeing they both are very mischevious little buggers!

 

They both have been a real joy and keep us laughing with their antics. And by the way, hardwood floors are awesome with cats, they slide all over place to the great amusement of humans!

Well, let’s see if I can bring this little garden back to life. I missed it and maybe, hopefully you have missed it too.  )

I’m so thankful she went peacefully, but to say I miss her is an understatement. She was my best friend, she knew when I needed a cuddle, she knew when I was sick she’d come lay by me and she’d make me laugh, even when I didn’t think I had a laugh in me.  Rocky was 13 years old and had a fulfilling life.  Rocky came into our lives when friends blessed us with her when she was weaned from her momma and for thirteen years she blessed us. She was spoiled rotten, a pure diva, and the most beautiful cat ever in our eyes.  She will be deeply missed for she was deeply loved.

2. I received the most beautiful card (along with a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet!) from my husband for our anniversary it was followed at once by me sobbing like fool.

3. The trouble is we have lots of leftovers and the fridge is overflowing! yum

4. Let’s run away, miles away,  many miles away.

5. With a faint pop the cork left the bottle. party

6. At 3:00 in the morning, everything looks shadowy and ominous.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to movie night with the hubby, tomorrow my plans include putting up the Christmas tree and Sunday, I want to finish decorating the house for Christmas!
