I always wear sunglasses as I wear contacts, so my eyes are sensitive to the sun. My current pair is a pair of black Chanel’s, that I picked up in New York City as a little souvenir. I love them!

I wouldn’t change my job for nothing!! (I’m a Domestic Goddess, I have it made!) Though I move when hubby’s job requires us to, so I guess that would place it as a 10.

What are you proud of?
I am proud to be a mother of two wonderful, young adults. I’m also proud of being part of a marriage that has lasted 23 years, so far!

What is the best thing you’ve ever won as a prize?
I won an all expense paid trip for two to Nashville. This included airfare, staying at the Opryland hotel, we also received two-day tickets to the Opryland park(when it was still there), tickets to the Opry, a day cruise on the General Jackson, and $500 in cash. It was a nice little get away for a young couple with very young kids!

Play Texas Hold’em poker on the computer. Put I’m good at it!

In what year of your life did you change the most?
I think the year I changed the most was 1983, I went from party girl, and graduating high school to meeting the man of my dreams, falling in love, getting married and settling down. I changed alot that year.

Where is a place you consider to be very tranquil?
My backyard. I can sit on my back porch and watch the birds, chipmunks and bunnies while listening to the wind in the trees. It relaxes me every time.

1. The reports from my cardio tests came back and the doctor said my heart is in perfect condition! That made me smile really big!

What is your usual bedtime? Do you like that, or would you rather it be different?
Usually around 1:00…I’m a night owl, if I get caught up reading, it could be as late as 2 or 3!! I don’t mind it as long as I don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn!!

When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more?
As a mom of 21 and 18 year olds, I tend to GIVE more advice!!!

Describe a memorable meal you’ve had.
While in Fort Worth recently we went to a fabulous restaurant called Reata, we started out with some awesome stuffed tamales that were huge!! Then I had a delicious steak topped with bleu cheese butter and grilled mushrooms, asparagus and baked potatoes. Then for dessert…..a Crème Brule, shared with family that was delicious!!! That was my most recent memorable meal….but it wasn’t just the food that made it so, it was time spent with family!

Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.
Nora Roberts The Irish Trilogy, it made me see Ireland in a whole new light….and made my want to go there even stronger!!

What is your favorite type of fruit juice?
Cranberry would be my favorite, and I don’t drink that very often, only when I need too, if you know what I mean!! I’m not a fruit drink drinker!
