I made two arrangements like this, only they are in the mirror image of each other. They will be placed in the front of the church, on either side of the stage. I still need to make a smaller arrangement for in front of the pulpit. But that will have to wait till tomorrow! I’m tired!
It was my first attempt at making glycerin soaps! And they turned out great! I used a vanilla scent, and a gold and wine color soap dye. They turned out a little pinker than I wanted but I am still pleased and they smell wonderful!! I’m making these as gifts, so I hope they like them!
I also went shopping yesterday with my pal Judy for flowers for arrangements that I will be making for the church.
That’s just some of the flowers….you should see my craft room! I brought home three very large arrangements from the church that, well let’s say were outdated, and so I am going to be busy doing flower arrangements the next couple of days. Told you, I am feeling creative! Actually, I have to get this done before we leave for our cruise! See, we are going and so are our friends, who happen to be our pastor and his wife as well as several other couples from church! So we are making sure things are setup before we leave.
Other news…My dad called, he had his checkup with his cardiologist and he is doing great! He will be starting rehab soon, which means that he will be going to be able to get some exercise! He’s looking forward to it. He sounded great…I am ecstatic!
Well, I’m off to conquer my forest of silk foliage! Keep an eye out…if I remember, I’ll post a picture of the finished products!
