I am just blog hopping around tonight and stumbled across your site. I too am a newly made mother-in-law. I am excited about it, but worried about making sure that the kids stay in my life while trying not to step on their toes as well. I just wanted to share with you a great book that I picked up that has been a very beneficial book to me…. “The Mother-in-Law Manual” by Susan Lieberman. This is such a warm and wise book. I felt like I was having a cup of coffee with a really insightful friend, chatting about common challenges.Isn’t it helpful to know other mother-in-laws struggle with the same issues as we do and to explore ways to struggle less?
