What was the first thing you thought when you looked at yourself in the mirror today? Oh $^%#! Seriously, I looked in the mirror and I thought could it get any worse? Eye’s puffy with dark circles, nose all red….ugh, a real beauty right now!
Do you have a recurring nightmare? If so, explain. Actually it’s only been recurring this last week, which is so odd, but I am thinking it’s because I’m sick…or maybe there is some hidden reason…LOL. The nightmare is something that really happened to me when I was around 13 and working a summer job passing out flyer’s for a roofing company. The way it worked we would go out two together in an area, and the driver would pick us up at a designated area within a certain time lot. One day I ended up having to do an area alone, which should not have happened in the first place. I was dropped off, finished my area and waited to be picked up….and waited, and waited and waited. The driver never showed. Remember, I am 13, did not know where I was, not even the town I was in, didn’t have a dime on me and was all alone. After about three hours of waiting I started walking to the nearest busy section where there I saw a 7-Eleven, I asked to use the phone and the clerk said she couldn’t let me. I explained I was lost basically and had no money. She was talking to a man and said he was a trucker and he could give me a ride. I remember having my skin crawl looking at him and I said no thank you and hurried out of there and headed back to the pick up point hoping that the driver was there. He wasn’t. After waiting for a few more hours he finally showed up. I had been actually “missing” approximately 8-9 hours. In the meantime, my mother was doing what no mother should have to do, describe what I was wearing, the color of my hair, etc. The worst part, when the driver (he was an older man) finally got me and drove me home he spent the whole time yelling at me. I have relived this traumatic experience in my nightmares almost to the last detail this past week several times. Seriously, I’m ready to dream about puppies and cotton candy!
List three foods you can’t stand: Liver, I just can’t do that. Turnips, they turn me off.
Venision, I’ve tried it in several different ways, I just don’t like it!

I have to hand it to you — that’s a truly vile trio of foods you listed for the last question! When I think of turnips I involuntarily shudder! You should have some nice chocolate to wash away those icky food thoughts. (Thanks for visiting my Manic Monday.)

Oh my gosh! I can not IMAGINE how scared you were! I can’t believe that lady wouldn’t let you use the phone! You shoulda stayed in the 7-11 parkin’ lot until a cop came to get some donuts!
Hey gal — I returned your email — just need an address from you and (hopefully) she’ll be on her way! Whenever you’re feelin’ up to it!
