1. Journey – some great making out tunes from that group!

2. Steve Perry – When he sang “Oh Sherrie” made my heart go pitter patter..I even forgave him for spelling my name wrong.

3. Foreigner – One of the best concerts I went to back then.

4. Styx – Local boys, got to see them a time or too also.

5. Queen – Some of my best memories are with Queen songs!

6. Duran Duran – Yep, I liked them…

7. Every time I hear this song I think of Friday and Saturday nights at the roller rink, Ladies only…….

8. Boston – not only for the music, but it seems everywhere you looked someone was wearing those black concert tee’s.

9. John Cougar singing “Jack and Diane” we’d be cruising Marquette Park me and my best buds, looking cool and jamming to the tunes.

10. Meatloaf – Paradise by the Dashboard Light…..the anthem of high school.

Great memories! I especially loved Journey, Steve Perry and John Cougar, John Cougar Mellencamp, John Mellencamp or whatever he was called at that time of his life.

Hey, my name is Sheri, too! I was named after a “Sherry” song, but it was Frankie Valli, not Journey. Love Journey, though; saw them and many other 80s bands in concert back in the day.
