1. When I’m sick I’m curled up in my favorite jammies, drinking hot tea, watching movies or reading. In other words, I baby myself.
2. When I take a walk, I think about the beauty around me and I snap photos.
3. Money can’t buy happiness but it can sure make life easier.
4. Cotton makes me feel comfy and leather makes me feel sexy.
5. The strangest person/character I’ve had lewd thoughts about was Jamie Fraser a Scottish Highlander of the Outlander Book Series that I have read and reread.
(I guess that’s considered strange since he’s fictional, right?)
6. My favorite color these days is deep purple because it makes me feel warm and comfortable .
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to feeling better, tomorrow my plans include finally finishing the office (yes, it’s been put off way too long) and Sunday, I want to decide whether or not I want to brave the heat and crowds and take advantage of the backstage passes my sister got us for the RDR Concert!

Movie Reviews:
I haven’t felt so great this week so I caught up on some of the movies I have put on my “to watch” list. A few are worth mentioning…

Penelope: starring Christini Ricci, Catherine O’Hara, James McAvoy, and Reese Witherspoon - A modern romantic fairytale that has quite love-able characters. Christini Ricci as Penelope is charming and James McAvoy as Max won my heart. To be honest, I really didn’t think I would like this movie, it looked silly to me. But I loved it and highly recommend it if you want a magical movie. So I learned a lesson, don’t judge a movie by it’s preview.

The Water Horse- starring Alex Etel, Emily Watson, and Ben Chaplin - Very cute movie about a lonely boy who discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend, a Water Horse. The story is very good, the water horse is very cute and like-able, plus some laugh out loud moments during the movie. I really enjoyed the gorgeous scenery throughout the movie, and the soundtrack is very enjoyable too.
If you get a chance to watch either of these movies, let me know what you thought!

Sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m not either, I think mine is sinus. I’ve got a bad sinus headache that won’t go away (almost like a migraine but not quite as bad). Hope you feel better soon
You sound like me when I get sick. I snuggle up and like to be babied (of course, that doesn’t work, my husband is no nursemaid!).
We saw Water Horse on DVD and thought it was cute, a good clean family movie. I hadn’t thought I’d like Penelope either, reading the synopsis at Netflix, but after reading your review, I might add it to my queue. I got Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day in Wednesday and tried watching the first half hour but got interrupted by the doorbell (a neighbor). I was having a lot of trouble getting into it though, so now I’m not sure if I’m going to try to finish it or not.
Have a great Friday and weekend!

Enjoyed your fill-ins. Use those backstage passes! I haven’t seen Penelope, but I’ve seen the Water Horse. I watched it with my kids, and we all thought it was pretty good. It really surprised me because I didn’t think I was going to like it.

Tsk tsk lusting after a fictional character lol. BTW James McAvoy is quickly turning into one of my favourite actors.
Hope your week is going well, I never seem to keep up with blogging or visiting these days. I am trying !
