I saw this over at Stacy’s and being the huge reader that I am, I couldn’t pass this one up!
1. Who are your favorite authors? I have alot, but here a few: Diana Gabaldon, Nora Roberts, Karen Marie Moning, JK Rowling, Lynn Kurland, Gregory Maguire, Jill Barrett, Melissa Mayhue, Janet Evanovich…..gosh, I could go on and on!
2. What are your favorite books? Another question that could lead to a list that goes on and on!
Just a few: The Outlander Series (ALL OF THEM!
) by Diana Gabaldon, Wicked by Gregory Maguire, Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon, & Heart of the Sea – An Irish Trilogy by Nora Roberts (I could go on about Nora Roberts, her books are awesome and I love most of them!), The Highlander Series by Karen Moning….I’ll stop now.
3. What kind of books do you tend to read? Sci-fi, Romance, Mystery…etc…? I really love a good story with a strong Highlander, throw some Gaelic in there, maybe a little Fae magic and I’m all a flutter!
But a good book will capture my attention no matter what the topic.
4. Do you prefer to borrow books from the library or buy them? I like to buy. I never get to the library.
5. Do you prefer hardcover or paperback? Doesn’t matter, whichever it is available in. Though if it’s a book that I REALLY love, I’ll buy it in hardcover to keep.
6. What was the last book you read? What are you reading now? Last book I read was the one I finished this morning with my coffee, it was “Darkfever” by Karen Moning. I’ll start the second in the series, “Bloodfever” tonight.
7. Do you read everyday? Yes I do! I can’t go to sleep without reading. I love to read when I have my morning coffee sitting outside on my patio also.
8. On average how many books do you read per year? I’ve never thought to count but I figure I read well over 75. I am a fast reader, so an average book takes me only a day or two to finish.
9. Do you belong to any book clubs? Not a book club but I do belong to Paperback Swap and it’s worth it’s wait in gold!! Click button to check it out…of course after you finish reading!

10. Recommend a good book. One of my all time absolute favorite books is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I’ve read this book and the following five of the series four times! That’s how much I love these big books and when I say big books I mean 800+ pages!! If you like history, romance and just a touch of magic you will fall in love too.

Is your mouth watering yet? I had the Salmon with mango pico, which I have to say is the absolutely most spectacular Salmon I have ever tasted. For dessert they brought out Miss Priss her favorite (and mine) the Chocolate Chili Brownie! I made the statement to my mom that taking a bite of that brownie which had cayenne pepper in it, was like having a mini orgasm in your mouth!
