This week’s theme was easy! Who doesn’t love candy! My photo is for all you that grew up in the 70’s! Do you remember these candies? I found this box of nostalgic sweets at Cracker Barrel and knew I had my hunt photo. My favorites were Razzles, Fun Dips, Gobstoppers, Smarties, Atomic Fireballs, Bottle Caps, and Bublicious bubble gum! I remember when Pop Rocks first came out, a family friend was somehow associated with the company who made Pop Rocks and he brought some home for us kids to try. We thought we were so cool!

I remember many of those. Bubblicious was my favorite gum.

Dear YR….you are not going to believe this but I have never heard of any of these….lol! The age difference must have something to dp with it….! A Wonderful picture of some AMAZING Candy’s!

Well, I’ve not tasted any one of those as we don’t have the same over here in Sweden. The box with the 70’s candy does look very interesting to taste though!

…and what about that “Swedish Fish” dow in the right corner, how is that one? Is it a soft salty licorice fish (very common and popular over here, one of mine favorites too) OR is it a blue hard one with some kind of salty licorice taste? OR something completely different?

I remember getting Atomic Fireballs from a relative in the US. I passed it to a friend in class. Instead of him getting surprised, they pulled a prank on me. They told me he’s having an allergic reaction to the candy. I got scared.

We bought some of that old candy not long ago. We had so much fun picking it out…what memories!!! Love seeing the Rain-Blo Bubble Gum…I’d forgotten about it…I used to love it lol

Boy do I! I was at the height of my candy-eating days in the 70’s, ages 5-15. Brings back memories.

Oh, and bottlecaps are NASTY! We were at Cracker Barrel on Mother’s Day and Kailee (my 2 year old) grabbed her a pack of them. She stuck the first one in her mouth, started chewing, made a face and out it came. HAHA!
