This is my hand, and this is my surprise that I mentioned in my Friday Fill-In!! My love of my life surprised me last Saturday by taking me to a special jewelry store, that has a lot of custom pieces to pick out a new wedding ring set. This is something we have been looking at for awhile now, but haven’t found anything that did it for me, til now! I think this was the second piece I tried on and knew I found it! The bands are infinity bands, so I bling whether I have my hand this way or that way! We found the center stone that set it off perfectly, it’s a “cushion cut” which looks like a pillow! I had never seen nor heard of a cushion cut before, but fell in love with it! It was so hard to wait to Friday to pick it up, but I managed!!

So why did I get such a gorgeous ring? It is to celebrate our 25th anniversary which is this year (in November)!! Pretty special guy I have! I love that man and not just because he buys me big a$$ diamonds!

6. The last time I laughed with all my belly was last night, when I almost pushed D in the pool and he ended up chasing me into the house. You had to be there, it was funny!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to picking up my big surprise that D bought me (pictures coming soon), tomorrow my plans include going to see Craig Ferguson in Concert (is it a concert when its a comedian? ) at the casino, a cute Scot and gambling (can’t wait) and Sunday, I want to celebrate the graduation of my handsome nephew and my pretty step-niece, both are graduating from the same high school on Sunday!
