It’s been an interesting evening here in the land of Oz…well, Texas.
Did kind of feel like Oz for awhile the way the weather was going! This is how the sky was looking, greenish, with rotating clouds. Very ominous and scary.

We watched the cloud wall come in and by the way, I wasn’t the only nut outside taking photos!
Living out here you can see it sweep across, it was quite amazing to watch. Though I did get nervous when I noticed the cloud rotation right over our house….I started humming “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” at this point!
The hail came down in sheets, it was horrible and because we have so much stuff from our move still in our garage only one vehicle can fit in the garage. You can guess who’s that is! My Cadillac was nice and snug in there, but Miss Priss’s new car, along with Brandon’s, his Fiancés and D’s vehicles were all damaged. Miss Priss is not a very happy gal right now. Thank heaven for insurance!

This is during the storm, it was horrible!
After the storm passed, which it felt like it never would, we took a look around. We live on top of a hill at the end of a cul-de-sac, down our street the houses below us have all flooded, and we have had a minor land slide in the street from a vacant lot. We are very lucky that we have only roof damage from what we see so far. Though it does look like some of my plants may not make it!

Been an interesting night, and I’m glad it’s over!!

Yikes. You did get it.
That storm broke up right as it was supposed to hit our house. Jeff next to never gets nervous about the storm cells that push through here (that intense weather background he has…), but last night… We were calling friends in apartments and watching that BLACK weather cell as it aimed right for our house. Lucky for us, the sun set right as the storm made it to I-35. I don’t think we even ended up with hail.
Glad you are all ok - even if your cars are a little dinged…
