1. I’m going random again this week…It’s been a quiet week so far here. We have been a sick household, Miss Priss and I have had a bug and then D came home Tuesday night sick. I have to say, he is the BIGGEST baby when he’s sick!
Moaning and groaning….geez!
2. Saturday we went to the Texas Rangers game for Brandon’s birthday. It was alot of fun, though it was chilly! We got there early so we could eat at the Cuervo Club, which was really good, then went down to our seats to see the teams warm up. We were in the 12th row behind 1st base dugout, so lots of foul balls came our way! Kinda scary! I ducked my head…..alot!
Oh and the Rangers lost.
3. On Sunday Miss Priss, my future DIL, my sis and my niece got together for a girls day since our guys were playing in a golf tournament! My silly little niece wanted to see “Prom Night” so to make her day after we ate at Genghis Grill (which was delicious!) we went and saw this ridiculous movie! Word of advice, save your money!
If I am going to go see a “scary” movie, I at least want to jump out of my seat, and have my heart race a little. Not once during this movie did that happen! It was predictable and boring. But it made my nieces day so it was worth it. She just owes me, BIG TIME!

4. I just finished reading a Nora Roberts book that actually scared me!! “Blood Brother’s” is the first in the Sign of Seven series and I found it quite different from any of her other writings. I couldn’t believe that I got the willies while reading it. But I did, and that’s cool! Check it out if you like spooky stories!
5. Anyone else losing interest in American Idol? It’s lost it’s appeal to me this season. Besides, Paula is so annoying!
6. But I’m thrilled that Hell’s Kitchen is back!! LOVE Gordon Ramsay! Though I could never be in a kitchen with him! I don’t do well with someone yelling at me no matter how cute they are.

7. There is a new blog that I’m addicted to, an old high school pal created it and it has been a flashback of people, places and things of the town I grew up in. Since I moved away from there when I was 18, it’s been wonderful to walk down memory lane and reconnect with some of the people I went to school with.
8. Hey, do you Twitter?
9. Just a reminder that the voting for the Photo Contest at Write From Karen starts on the 18th! Here is my entry, don’t forget to vote! Thanks!!
10. Ok, you all know I have mentioned “Share a Square” many times on here, and thanks to everyone who has contributed to it! The goal was met and then some! But now let me share with you something I think that is really neat from the creator of “Share A Square!“
11. Shelly, the creator of “Share A Square” is a dreamer, a big dreamer and she has a dream about raising the funds to send kids with cancer to camp. Read all about it here (after you finish with my 13 and comment of course!
)
12. And while I’m sharing the word, don’t forget that it’s only three months till we give out the afghans and we need those little bags to include with them for the tags!! What bags you ask?
13. These bags! Share A Square Bag Project, click the button and read what it’s all about! We are really needing some generous volunteers to donate to this great project!! It’s getting close folks and we REALLY need some bags, so what do you say, wanna be a bag lady/man?

It’s funny you mention about “…losing interest in American Idol”; my boss runs an AI pool at work and she said today’s would be the last as no one seemed interested in it anymore! See what happens when they book the cute Aussie dude??!

Hey babe, sorry to hear you all have been sick. No one in the world is sicker than Mr. Wonderful when he gets sick. (fortunately that doesn’t happen very often.)

I’m thrilled Hell’s Kitchen is back as well. American Idol, I still watch it , but agree it’s lost its appeal. Happy T13!

I loved going to the Ranger games when we lived in Dallas (well Euless actually).
Took our daughter there for her birthday and had her name lit up on the scoreboard. She as 8 and very impressed.
I just can’t handle Hell’s Kitchen. One of us would die and at 6′ and 275, I don’t think it would be me.
Love the random lists. Have a great T13.

A ballgame is so much fun! I cannot wait until I get to go to my first A’s game of the season. Maybe I will catch one with them playing the Rangers. Is Michael Young still with them?

Sorry to hear you and Ms. Priss aren’t feeling well. Our whole family just finally got over this bug thing. It lasted almost two months.
The previews to Prom Night, just didn’t make me scream, but I am glad you girls had a fun night out!
Ooooh, I like reading Nora Roberts. I’ll have to try and find this one.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Happy TT!

I thought about the Twitter thing, but didn’t do it. I just don’t think I can get distracted by one more thing on the Internet.
Hugs,
