1. I was born in Chicago in the *cough* sixties.

2. I lived in the same house from the time I was born to the time I left home to marry my sweetheart. Lots of memories in that little house on Lockwood street. It’s no longer there, it was torn down this year and a bigger house built in it’s place.

3. I have one sister, who’s four years younger than me. We are closer now than we have ever been. I can honestly say we are two peas in a pod…there is NEVER a dull moment when we are together!

4. I once convinced my sister to get in the clothes dryer when we were kids, because it would be fun. I told her I wouldn’t turn it on. I lied.

5. After graduating from high school I took a trip to Texas to visit family. On my second day there I met a friend of my uncles. He came to the door, my little cousin answered and yelled, “Sherry, your new boyfriend is here!” I was cooking hamburgers, and blamed the redness of my face on the hot kitchen! It was love at first sight.

6. I’ve been married to my best friend for 24 years.

7. I have two of the greatest kids in the world! Well, I can still call them kids even though they are both now officially adults. But to me, they will always be my babies!

8. I love photography and it’s become a passion of mine. My camera is a Canon Rebel XTI and I absolutely love it! You can check out some of my photos here!

9. I love all types of music! From Celtic to Rock to Josh Groban and The Corrs….if I like it, I’ll play it! My IPod has quite the assortment!

10. I’m a chocoholic….there I said it!! Dark chocolate is my weakness, but if it’s chocolate I am there…have you ever had a chocolate martini?!

11. Ok, don’t judge me on this one……I really don’t like to cook! I will if I “have” to, but I make reservations much better!

12. My favorite color is purple. My favorite flower is the yellow rose. Bet you would have never guessed that, huh?

13. I am addicted to several things, though none have a group for my addictions…blogging, playing Scrabulous, coffee, and loving my family!
