I feel lousy right now. I woke up this morning with such a sore throat that I can barely talk. (My family sympathizes, but I don’t think they are complaining. ) I feel bad enough I’m breaking down and going to the doctor…it’s that bad.
When I don’t feel good there are certain things I want or need. First, I need a cup of hot tea, usually chamomile with a dab of honey in it, (or a splash of something stronger ), and it has to be in a certain ”tea mug.”
This mug was a gift from a dear friend who brought it back from one of her trips to London. Every time I take a sip of my tea, it perks me up no matter how sick I am. It’s the small things that count, you know.
