I feel lousy right now. I woke up this morning with such a sore throat that I can barely talk. (My family sympathizes, but I don’t think they are complaining.
) I feel bad enough I’m breaking down and going to the doctor…it’s that bad.
When I don’t feel good there are certain things I want or need. First, I need a cup of hot tea, usually chamomile with a dab of honey in it, (or a splash of something stronger
), and it has to be in a certain ”tea mug.”

This mug was a gift from a dear friend who brought it back from one of her trips to London. Every time I take a sip of my tea, it perks me up no matter how sick I am. It’s the small things that count, you know.
Is there something you need or do when you are not feeling well?

I sure hope that you’re feeling better and that it’s not strep throat or something like that. A little bit of honey in tea or my fav “a hot toddy” is very soothing.
