1. It’s been a sucky couple of weeks…last night I had to attend the wake of a fifteen year old beautiful young lady, the daughter of one of the men that works for my husband. There were over 500 people at the funeral home when we got there, with more arriving every minute. It took us 3 hours to pay our respects to the family. It was quite a testimony as to how many lives she touched. As a parent, I can’t even imagine….

2. I’ll be going to my dad’s today to as he put it “baby-sit” him. He seems to be having more difficulty talking than he did when the stroke first happened. Does anyone know if that’s normal?

3. My dad’s wife has made things so difficult, but I am determined that she will not keep me away. She hasn’t seen stubborn.

4. One thing I have found very comforting, that my sister and I are as close as we ever been. Thank God for sister’s because if I didn’t have her to lean on, vent to, laugh with….I’d be going nuts!

5. Well to prove not everything was sucky….let me add the good things…

6. My new car drives like a dream! When we took delivery on it on Saturday it had 10 miles on it. It now has over 400…I’m breaking it in, gently of course!

8. The weather here is absolutely nuts!!! One day it’s snowing, the next it’s in the 70’s, today it’s gloomy, cold and raining again!! UH, Texas weather!!

9. Had to go to the eye doctor this week. Not my favorite thing to do, but I was on my last pair of contacts, so it was necessary. He was very nice, and it wasn’t so bad…though I didn’t like the drops in my eyes… ! I’m trying a new brand of contacts and I think I like them much better, very comfortable. Comfort is the key!

10. I found a pair of really cute pair of Coach frames I really liked…I don’t wear glasses much, but I probably would wear them more if I go ahead and get these….they were that cute!

11. I have received a couple bags for the Share A Square Bag Project, I will take pictures and post a whole post on that in a few days.

12. Forgive me for not saying much on it lately, (things have been alittle crazy here ) BUT, please don’t forget this worthwhile project!!
