1. Whew….made it through Christmas!!
Have to admit, this probably wasn’t my most favorite Christmas. Though we did have some nice moments sprinkled in.
2. I did enjoy seeing my Grandparents on Christmas Eve!! They, along with my mom and step dad came out to our home for a few hours in the afternoon so they could see our house. It was so nice to have them in our home.
3. Also on Christmas Eve we went to my uncle and aunts for a family gathering, it was great to see them along with my sister and her family, my grandparents, my mom and stepfather, and a family friend. It was the first time for us to see some of my family in about three years. We had a really good time.
4. Of course on Christmas Eve once we returned home I had to start cooking!!! Thankfully, Miss Priss lent a hand and we knocked it out pretty fast.
5. Brandon and his fiancé, Brittney, came in after celebrating with her family (they “do” Christmas on Christmas Eve) and we all changed into our official Christmas PJ’s so we could finally sit down and watch “It’s A Wonderful Life,” a family tradition.
6. Christmas day we got up to see what Santa brought…and he did good!
7. I really enjoyed watching Brandon and Brittney open their presents. Here is something I gave her…

A Frog Prince, because she has found her prince!
8. We also gave them their very first together gift….A Christmas Snow Globe! I’ve told them that I will get them one every year to add to their collection! Nice way to start a holiday collection!

9. One thing is for certain, we found out we could surprise Miss Priss!!!

Notice the large can of beans in the box? It threw her off!!
Inside this box was two boxes from Jared, so yes, we went to Jared!
We bought her a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring and sapphire stud earrings. They look beautiful with her eyes!!
10. Speaking of surprised! I surprised Big D, Big Time!!
He’s usually the one who does so well with the surprising, but I pulled it off this time. (I’m so proud of myself!
) He has worn a hand-me-down gold wedding band all these years. We had started looking at bands awhile back just to get ideas as we are planning on buying new sets for the both of us. Well, I found the perfect white gold band with beautiful scrolling engraved on it and rolled edging, and decided Christmas present!

Canned spinach for my man! He had no clue what was in that box!!

Surprise!! She went to Jared!!!
11. I received many wonderful presents, such as my Canon Rebel XTI, a really cool tripod, a camera case, an additional battery, a 8gb memory card, a Notebook external hard drive to store all the pictures I am taking!! Plus a really fun game called “Battle of the Sexes,” Harry Potter BluRay disc, Wind pipe chimes from Bali, a calendar, and other great things that I just can’t remember right now!!
12. On top of all the Christmas things, my precious kitty has been sick. We noticed she had been losing weight, not eating well and sleeping alot. Then she sprayed one of my walls, very unlike her. So we took her to the vet today. After that traumatic experience, (I don’t know who it was worse for, her or me!) lots of blood work, that just getting that blood was a three person event btw, we found out that Rocky has a problem with her kidneys.
The vet (who I loved) said since she’s 10 years old and that with a lifetime change in her diet and keeping her checked she should be ok.

My spoiled little Diva!

On Christmas Eve she put on quite the show! I told her to get up in the chair and pose and as you can see, she did! She proceeded to pose for about 20 pictures….a pure Diva!!
