Twenty-four years ago I married my best friend. Through the years we have had some tough times and our good times, during it all our love never wavered. We have two wonderful kids, who have blessed our lives so much. I couldn’t imagine my life any other way!
Though our actual anniversary is Monday, we celebrated Sunday. D surprised me by taking me to the Mercury Chop House in downtown Fort Worth. I have to say, this has become my new favorite place to eat! I started out with a glass of chardonnay, then had escargot (which I love, D not a fan), I had a filet that melted in my mouth with a side of creamed spinach. D had a Rib Eye and baked potato. For dessert we shared a dark chocolate cappuccino cheesecake with fresh berries! Talk about a meal!! But what was even better, D surprised me with a beautiful diamond anniversary band ring and diamond earrings! Is he not the best?!
This has been a wonderful year for us, I look forward to seeing what the future holds!
