I have had an amazing birthday! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to wish me birthday greetings, that means a lot to me!

Big D had been very secretive all day and wouldn’t tell me what he had planned. He just said to wear something nice. So I did. By the time we got to downtown Fort Worth, I had an idea where he was taking me, but he would never let on. He’s a sneaky one!! We pulled up to one of my all time favorite restaurants down town, Reatas! I love the food there and it’s cozy! It was just D, Miss Priss, Bubba and his girlfriend, it was so nice to be with the ones I love! One of the best parts of the evening was THE PRESENTS!!

B and Miss Priss gave me a Bath and Bodyworks basket filled with my favorite scent, Warm Vanilla Sugar! B’s girlfriend gave me a beautiful necklace and earrings which I love!! (Miss Priss wants it…but sorry Charlie they are mine!!)

Then D handed a gift bag to me and it was from Jared’s! Now you know that excited feeling one gets, the heart racing, sweaty hands, the feeling like you had too much bubbly? Well that’s me when see a jewelry box! Inside of that box was this….

This beautiful 1 carat diamond circle necklace!!

My man does pretty well in the bling department, don’t you think?

My birthday dinner was fantastic, you can’t go wrong when you order at Reatas, everything is delicious! And the dessert, pure ecstasy! A chocolate fudge molten cake with berries soaked in champagne. Talk about a slice of heaven!

It has been a wonderful day and you know what? Turning 43 is pretty darn cool!
