1. In one week we will be on our way to Texas! My gosh it is almost here! I honestly feel a little overwhelmed with all the things I have to do, and that is without me having to do the packing!!!
2. Speaking of, our moving coordinator called today to reassure me that everything was under control. It’s nice to know someone thinks so!
3. I’ve been going through closets and drawers, Goodwill is making out very well! Moving is a good excuse to purge!
4. I’m very mad at Comcast right now! When I called to check how long we would have access to our email after canceling our service they told me it is canceled immediately!
When we moved here we had access to our old account for 30 days. So now I am changing emails and trying to notify everyone. Here’s my new blog email by the way:
yellowrosesgarden(at)gmail(dot)com
5. I’m so tired already, I’m dreading next week! Say a prayer for me, k?
6. I was worried about being out of touch during our transition stage of our move, but we found out that the corporate apartment they are putting us in has wireless!!
So, I’ll be able to keep in touch! Woo Hoo!!
7. Check out this picture, when we were looking at our new house the other day, we had to rescue this big guy out of the pool!

Saved him from the drain!
8. The Montgomery Plaza Building in Fort Worth has had a major makeover since I seen it last. Very cool as the picture shows!

Not a bad sunset either!
9. Saw some family while we were in town, though it was a busy trip! Looking forward to being back home so we won’t have to rush our time together!
10. Ate some awesome Mexican food, man I miss good Mexican food!
That is one thing that you just can’t get in Georgia! Believe me, we tried! Went to a place called Gloria’s that was fabulous!! It is now one of my fav’s and we’ll be frequenting this establishment often!
11. At the airport Monday night I looked up while waiting at our gate and this is what I saw…..

12. Big D come’s home on Sunday!!! Then the fun begins…..(hey, get your minds out of the gutters!
) The packers come on Monday and Tuesday and then the movers on Wednesday to load it all up and it’s off to Texas!
13. And last, but certainly not least…I am mentioning “Share A Square” again, because it’s something that I believe in. If you crochet or know someone who does, please click the SAS link and check out how you can help. You’ll be glad you did!

And, this is for Rock Chicks goal for 500 links…..

But it’s exciting! It was nice to be back in Texas, I have had some mixed feeling about going back. But I enjoyed my time there this last week and I think going back is going to be good. Besides, it’s going to be great for Big D’s career, and in the grand scheme of things, financial security in numero uno!
