Monday Musings!

So how was your weekend? Mine, well other than having realtors in and out of my home most of the weekend, it was pretty boring. But thank you for asking! -) I’m missing my hubby. Usually on the weekend we get out and do something fun…so I was a little lonely. Bubba and I went out to dinner on Friday. Went to our favorite family owned Italian restaurant, yummy, and when we walked in the hostess looked at me funny when she only saw me and Bubba. I told her it’s just the two of us tonight. It was even odd for them!

It seems that all the lookers this weekend was a good thing, our realtor called me yesterday evening and said we were getting an offer from a family who loved the house. They had spent about an hour looking through the house, seeing how their furniture would fit, etc. all the way home (they lived out of state) they couldn’t stop talking about it. So keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well. We have some doubts, their realtor how should I put this..seems scatterbrained, and well, to put it plainly, we don’t have a lot of confidence in this one! So I’m not banking a lot on it, but who knows. There is another prospect, so all we can do is PRAY!

Miss Priss is getting homesick, she told me so. -) We figured it up, she hasn’t been home now for over two months between camp, her trips and now her staying to help out her grandparents. She did get to see her daddy this weekend, so that helped. He drove up to check on his dad and to see Miss Priss. Apparently there is a young man that has warranted my daughters attention in East Texas. So she must not be too home sick! mrgreen Her poppy is doing really well, and because of that it looks like Miss Priss is going to go to Branson with her Aunt and family for a little vacation. I think she deserves it, especially since she has given up weeks of her summer to be a caregiver. I think she’ll have a lot of fun…but I wonder if she’ll miss anyone? cool

Last let me mention a project you have heard me mention a time or two before, Share A Square! Click the link, Share A Square, to read all about it. I won’t go into all the details here. What I want to say is if you don’t know how to crochet, find someone who does and ask them to crochet a square or two. It could be your mom, grandmother, sister, daughter, babysitter, aunt, uncle, whoever you know that you think would love to Share A Square for this great cause! You know you want to, so as the Nike slogan say’s “Just Do It!” mrgreen You’ll be happy you did, and so will the kids! luv

Praying your house sells. I know what it’s like to be in one city (or state) while hubby is in another. It’s not fun!!! Good luck!
