It’s the start of another week, though this one is going to be lonely….my best friend, my hubby left yesterday morning for Fort Worth to start his new job. So with Miss Priss already in Texas, it’s just me and Bubba holding down the fort. I wanted to sulk and sleep in this morning, but no, a realtor called first thing wanting to show the house. So of course, I hopped up and told Bubba to make sure his room was picked up (a never ending chore) and grabbed a shower. I made it out the door with minutes to spare before they were to show up. Since we live across from our housing addition’s pool and tennis courts, I sometimes just pull into the parking lot, read and wait till they leave so I can go back home. This is what I did today. Though after thirty minutes, they didn’t show up, so I came back home. Wouldn’t you know it after I got home, about fifteen minutes later the doorbell rings, they were only 45 minutes late!! She apologized, saying traffic was bad. So call and say you’ll be late!! So I excused myself and drove back over to the pool and read till they were done! It’s such a pain!

Also had a repairman out to check on my washer, it’s acting up. It needs parts so he’ll return in 5-7 days. Then the Termite inspector came which is mandatory here for our relocation company, that only took 10 minutes. With all the cotton pickin’ inspections, and realtors in and out I’m actually getting quite tired of people traipsing through my house!! (Can you tell I needed to vent a little! lol )

This Wednesday I am having lunch with my gal pal Jane, from Cozy Reader!! We are trying to get a lunch or two in before I move. I sure am going to miss our lunches. I will have photos and I’m sure some juicy gossip for you when I return!!
