What a week!! First off, Big D’s dad did great through his by-pass surgery! Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers!

Happy Fourth of July! Hope you are spending it with your friends and family doing what you love! We are not doing anything special this 4th…actually spending the day deep cleaning the house…I know, we sure do know how to have fun, don’t we? So why are we sweating on this holiday when we should be out enjoying ourselves? We have our realtor coming to the house on Thursday to put our house on the market. Big D signed his papers yesterday…..FINALLY, which means it is now official, we are moving to Texas. He starts his new position July 23rd. He will be going back and forth for a few weeks but the wheels are in motion! I’m feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment knowing what all needs and has to be done. Calgon…..take me away!!!!

We already have a heads up on a house in Texas! We found it online, & when D was in Fort Worth last week he drove by it and really liked it. So he wanted my step-brother to take a look at it, see what he thought. When he started to tell him where it was my sb told him that he not only knew where it was, he knew the owner! My step-brother owns his own concrete company and he poured the slab on the house, the house belongs to a builder he has worked with many times and is friends with!! Long story short, one call and D was able to take a look in the house. He loved it and can’t wait for me to see it. It has everything we want…so who knows, finding a house maybe a piece of cake! *keeping my fingers crossed*

Well I guess I better get back to work…the guys are busy working and I’m just sitting here typing away. Miss Priss somehow managed to wiggle out of this, she’s in Myrtle Beach this week….sneaky little gal! I am hoping to get things done so we can take the Jeep out tonight, go out to the lake and watch fireworks…so I guess I better get working! Enjoy your day and be safe!
