What an awesome trip! If you have never been to our Capital, I highly recommend you make the trip! I have lots to share, as we did a lot in three days! Of course I have pictures to share, I took over 300, so be prepared! But for right now, I’m going to rest my weary traveling bones and watch the series finale of The Soprano’s.

It’s fun to go on trips, but it’s wonderful to come back home.

I’m so glad to hear that y’all had a good time. Washington DC is my favorite place on the planet. I’ve been 4 times in the last 13 years and I would go there on every single vacation if hubby would go for that!

Can’t wait to see more of your pictures! Rest up and enjoy home.

Glad you had a good time. Looking forward to the pics! I’d love to take our family up there for a vacation. My older boys have been, but not the younger two.

Can’t wait to see your pictures, my dear…! DC is a great great city!
How did you like that last episode of “Soprano’s”? I thought it was ‘vintage’ David Chase. He has never done the expected, and to me, the ending was so ominous yet. we don’t know……And I really liked that there was not a horrendous blood bath with the whole family being wiped out….One can only imagine with the last look on Tony’s face….! I know a lot of people are angry…but, if they really think about it, it is right in keeping with everything about this series….! Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant.

I’m so glad you are home safe and sound. Get some rest and share pictures from your visit. It’s too bad that George and Laura were out of town, I am SURE they would have had you for tea!!!

We are home also!! Just got in late this afternoon 6-11…I am glad to be at home. We have been gone since 5-24 and boy it is nice to be back. We came home to NO air conditioning and we really need it. Tomorrow I guess we are getting a new system. We knew this was coming and of course it has waited until it was really really HOT when it went out.
I loved going to the capitol and would love to go again. It is awesome, isn’t it?? Sandy
