I love New York! My husband and I were there in January and ate lunch at Tavern on the Green. We also saw “The Color Purple” on Broadway. We hope to take advantage of some cheap plane tickets in the future for a long weekend trip since you can fly direct from Knoxville to NYC. Sounds like you are having a marvelous time!

LOVE your tour of Centeal Park, Dear YR….What a great trip you had….And Mulligan is dear! Next time, do eat at Tavern On The Green….So much History….And that Mosaic is such a beautiful tribute to Lennon…! The Dakota is the name of the Building that I believe Yoko Ono’s still lived—where they lived when he was alive. It is a very famous building, too, like The San Remo….All these buildings have such a wonderful history….And I agree, New Yorkers are very very friendly….Everyone moves fast, but people are truly nice!

I didn’t get to see “IN” Central Park…it was SO COLD when we were there we just drove around it. I hope to get back there…thanks for taking us there though through your pics. Lovely!

WONDERFUL! You’ve included some great photos. I would love to visit New York, but since hubby flies into there, I can’t convince him of that. I’m just going to have to show him this Central Park tour! Maybe that will work Thanks so much for including the Dog Walker photo, you are right. That does seem so New York. You don’t see Dog Walkers around here in Fort Worth.

The other Merseyside connection with Central Park (other than Lennon) is that the Frederick Law Olmsted who designed it was inspired by Birkenhead Park.
