Yes folks, I admit it, I have been wrong. You see all these years I have complained about Mondays, how I hated Monday, dreaded Monday, etc. etc. How wrong I have been!! Mondays are becoming one of my favorite days! Why you ask? Let me share.
I wake up and come downstairs, pour a cup of coffee and turn my computer on. There is absolute silence in the house!! (Please, take a moment to think and enjoy that concept
) Everyone has already left for work, (yes they leave early enough they don’t wake me), and I have the house to myself! It’s a wonderful thing to have that blessed solitude after a busy weekend. I’m alone with my thoughts, and I can actually “think” which isn’t always easy for me. Besides the quietness, I can accomplish more on Monday (if I choose, that is
) because there is minimal distractions. No interruptions of:
“Mom, I need ____!!”
“What’s for dinner??”
So you can see why Monday has quickly become the front runner as one of my favorite days of the week. Sure Friday and Saturday are still my favorites, but Monday is gaining ground! I never knew I would enjoy this solitude so much!!
What is your favorite day of the week?

Don’t you get that lovely interruption which begins with “where is my______???” Lucky you!
I think thursday is my favorite day of the week. I have a fun gym class in the morning, it’s blogging time with T13 and the whole weekend is ahead of us!
enjoy your monday

You know I think the main reason I have never liked MOndays was because of it begin the beginning of SCHOOL, then WORK…things I did not really want to go do…NOW with being home (so far) it is fine!! I don’t have to worry so much about having to go perform or accompolish anything for anyone!! That is what I always hated to have to do. You are right MOnday is not that bad anymore. I think everyday is a good day as long as I am up, well, and alive!! Sandy

Ah, well. How does the commercial go? “Celebrate the moments of your life”. I always did enjoy International Coffees. Enjoy!

I’ll have to wait a bit longer (like at least 18 yrs) to enjoy Mondays- I’m still working until I win the Lotto (which I keep forgetting to play), discover a rich deceased relative, or retire from my job *sigh*

Well, since hubby works at home most of the time, I still get the “Honey, where did you put _________!! When he can’t find something why is it always ME that must have moved it!
Oh well, but life is still good. I’m glad you have that time to regroup and think. That is always a good thing!

I’m not sure I have a fav day. How about Mon-Fri between 8:30-2:30. That is when both my kids are in school and not home fighting with each other.
