Well it’s been a weird Easter weekend. Not only was it freezing here, it got down in the 20′s, I ended up not able to attend Easter services because of a lingering migraine. I missed that, it didn’t feel like Easter. Hubby did give me a beautiful card with some Peeps (my favorite Easter candy!) though…that helped!

Thankfully all the flowers I potted the previous weekend survived this cold front, Big D had brought all the pots into the garage. That man is my hero! Though I think his agenda was he didn’t want to spend another small fortune replacing flowers!

I’m not sure what is going on, but my body is acting very strange. See it all started with a migraine, and if you are a regular here, you know I don’t just get a “migraine” I get MIGRAINES! I’ve had one since Friday, and it’s not easing up. Then I noticed a rash, just little bumps on my chest and then on my chin. Today I noticed more on my arms and face and I’m not sure what’s going on. Never had this happen before, wondering if maybe it’s something I ate over the weekend? So on top of having a lousy migraine I have a strange itchy rash. Benadryl here I come!! Been a weird week so far!

Miss Priss is bugging us to let her get a dwarf bunny. She’s driving us nuts! Its one thing if I knew she’d take care of it, but past experience tells me that the new wears off after a few days and guess who has to take care of it? She wanted a little dog before, so we finally said yes. She got a little silky terrier, cute as a button, but the spawn of Satan. For the first week, Miss Priss would take the spawn of Satan out when he needed to go, she would feed it, bath it, brush it, play with it endlessly. Then the new wore off, and the spawn started tearing up things in Miss P’s room, eating her underwear (so gross), and waiting till after you took him outside to pee and brought him back in and promptly peed in front of you. The new wore off fast and then I had to take the beast out, chase him when he grabbed something he shouldn’t have, and clean up those puddles he so graciously left. Let’s just say doggie went to a good home! No honestly, he did. So you can see why we aren’t jumping at the chance at letting Miss Priss get another pet.
