Achoo Season!

I don’t know about where you live, but here in Georgia it’s allergy season, big time! Everything is covered is a nice layer of powdery yellow pollen, the cars all look the same no matter what color they really are, and if anything is left outside, it’s covered.

    This is the Villain!

Today the pollen count was 5499! shock When it’s over 120 it’s considered extremely high! The news said today that it was the highest count ever for the month of March. Woo Hoo! I’m so excited, my eyes are tearing because of the joy I feel for this landmark. No really, they are teary, itchy and scratchy. Also my nose is stuffy, my head feels cloggy and I’m sneezing all the time. Claritin D is my new best friend. The joys of living in Georgia! I love it here, seeing all the beautiful trees and flowers, but I have to admit it’s this part that just stinks!

I’m looking to the sky in hope for some rain to wash away this yellow powder that is causing such havoc around here! Anyone know how to do a rain dance? -)
