Well it’s a quiet and lazy day here at the garden. Let me recommend a few of the movies I have been watching….
Last night we watched “Facing The Giants” which is a really inspiring, uplifting movie! We really enjoyed this one. I watched “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” with Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. If you are looking for something funny, cute, light and quirky…this is the movie to see.
So anyone else extremely tired of all the news about Anna Nicole? They have dug up anyone and everyone whoever knew her or saw her just to drag this story on and on. It’s really sad that they use her death to keep the sale of news rags and these entertainment shows. The one to suffer from all this will be that poor baby.
And now we have another star falling off the deep end, Britney Spears. She has shaved her head now! What on earth is going on with that girl? She checked herself into rehab, which I believe is just the celebs way of saying I’m taking a mini vacation, but then checked herself out after two or three days. Now I know rehab does great for those who go in and actually do the program. But Hollywierd has made rehab a joke. As for Britney, she is on a road of destruction that doesn’t look like it will have a happy ending unless she gets some serious help, fast. And once again, there are innocent children who suffer.
Miss Priss is in Texas, she left Thursday morning and will return on Tuesday. She is having a ball spending time with her cousins and friends, going to concerts and just hanging out. It’s the first time she has been able to go back for a visit since we moved from there two years ago. She met one of her favorite country singers the other night, Aaron Watson….she was in heaven. I heard all about it, at 3:00 in the morning!!!! Oh to be 18 again. 
Well that’s all the ramblings going on in my head for now. Back to watching “The Count of Monte Cristo”….it’s pretty awesome!

I have “Facing the Giants” ordered on Netflix but have not seen the other movie. Have you seen the “Illusionist”? It is really a good movie clear to the end!! I really liked it.

I didn’t know that Facing the Giants was out on DVD already….hubby and I are both wanting to see that one!
I wish I was in Texas…I love it…I’m glad Miss Priss is having a great time!

I haven’t seen those movies you mentioned but will have to check them out on Netflix…Poor Brittany Spears…it seems to me she is crtuing out for help with her behavior…I wish someone or a bunch of someones who really love and care about her do an “intervention”…if indeed that is what she needs….
I agree about Anna Nicole Smith…I actually did a post about it about a weel or so ago…ISo many people seem to be falling apart in front of our eyes and the Media just works it all to death…they don’t help with the greed factor behind selling papers/soap/whatever…To me, they are increddibly irresponsible in these things…!
By the way, I watched a very interesting film called “Almost Strangers”…Stephen Poliakoff’s film….worth renting….It is about something! Beautifully written and wonderfully acted, too…Well my dear as always, a pleasure tovisit you….

I LOVED Facing the Giants. The other night we watched The End of the Spear which was WONDERFUL as well.
You’re right about all the hype from Hollywood about Anna Nicole and Brit….it’s VERY VERY sad when there are children involved (which is true in both of these cases).

I’m worried for Britney Spears. She us to be such a pretty lady now she’s looking like trash off the street, but living the life as Robin Leach would say! I don’t understand what she thinks when she does half the things she’s doing. Her kids are innocent and are so young they have no idea whats really going on. I havent seen her mom or heard of her in a while and I do remember her being her sidekick at things. Maybe shes tired of brit acting the way she is. I think its time Britney gets so serious help before she does something else wrong. Everyone have a great day (:
