Photo Hunt – “Broken”

    broken.jpg

This is not only broken, but it broke my heart as well! Big D gave me this for my birthday this year, it’s a framed piece of crosses with Swarovski Crystals that I fell in love with while we were up in the mountains early last November. Unfortunately it was sitting on an end table in our living room, looking so pretty when Big D passed by one day and accidentally bumped it causing it to come apart and causing some of the crosses to come loose. It can be fixed, I just haven’t gotten the right glue for the project yet. I just wanted to cry when he brought it to me, but I didn’t since he felt horrible about it. Poor guy!

I believe there is nothing in this world that is broken that can’t be fixed, no matter what it is!

    Happy Saturday!! )

It’s still beautiful! What a wonderful gift! I’d reframe it! Take it to a Swarovski shop and see if they can fix it. We have one at our mall here. Or find them online, see if you send it to them if they can fix it.

So glad that it can be fixed! Great choice for The Hunt!

I know what it’s like when something dear to me breaks accidently. It breaks my heart too. If it’s one of my family that accidently did it, I try not to over react. They feel bad enough as it is. At least it can be fixed.

        Have a great Saturday,

Hi Yellow Rose. It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to post a comment.

Ya know, I can understand why you fell in love with this…it’s beautiful! And I too would be heart-broken.

Hurry, get some glue!! And when it IS fixed and reframed, let me know, I’d love to see it in the frame.

Hey babe, you must be feeling better. I was going to put a picture of our dearly departed car that has been officially declared “totaled”. Hey any accident you can walk away from is a gift from God. Miss you, glad you are better.
