This was taken at the “ICE” exhibit at the Gaylord Texan Resort before Christmas. Just one of the many beautiful ice sculptures that were displayed in the below freezing exhibit!! Man it was cold, but so worth it!! I loved this one, because to me the deer looks silver against the black starry sky! Just gorgeous!
Happy Saturday!!

Oh that is just gorgeous! We almost went the the Gaylord Ice Exhibit in Orlando, FL but never got around to it for some reason. I will have to remember it for next year! This makes it look very worth while!

That is beautiful. In Texas I imagine they had to keep it really cold… ice skating anyone. Must have been difficult due to the warm fall and early winter. Great shot.
Mine is up too.

Wow! This is really something. I just can’t describe how I feel when I saw this. My mouth is wide open with admiration at the beauty of it.
Wasn’t able to join the Photo hunters. I was at a loss when I was going to post and all of a sudden I couldn’t open my own blogger as I was switched to the new blogger buzz and not the blogger beta. They said blogger beta is already dead and this is the new one. So anyway, no Photo Hunter today but have something special for everyone. It is something better than silver or gold. Please do visit if you have the time.

Excellent and impressive entry. You’ve done abrilliant shot of a great ice-sculpture. The Deer looks so vivid, I at first sight was sure this was done in the darkroom from a real deer.
May be the best entry so far
