1. Someone mentioned last week that it would be nice to know what movies I have been watching while I’ve been sick. So this week I thought I’d share the list of flicks that I’ve enjoyed while this bug has kicked my butt.
2. Lady in the Water - I loved this “bedtime story!” M Night is a great storyteller!!

3. The Devil Wears Prada - Great flick!! Meryl Streep at her best!

4. The Illusionist – This movie was magical!! Loved this one!!

5. Superman Returns – Pretty good, kind of dragged on though.

6. World Trade Center - Excellent movie, if you haven’t seen this movie about these heroes, see it!

7. Ice Age 2, The Melt Down - Cute and if you liked the first one, you’ll like this one.

8. Invincible – This movie was great and I’m not one that likes “sports related” movies. A feel good movie!

9. Step Up – Bad boy meets good girl movie, cute and some good dancing but definitely does not compete with Dirty Dancing!!

10. MI3 – Even though Tom Cruise is as nutty as peanut butter, I liked this movie. Very suspenseful!!

11. Nanny McPhee – I’ve seen this before, and I love this movie so watching it again was a delight!!

12. The Rose – An oldie, but one of my favorites! Bette Midler is fantastic in this role and the music, awesome!!

13. I’ve also watched a lot of BBC America, watched Doctor Who, love that show, and a few others that have proven to be quite interesting. I like that station, it’s addicting! So as you can see, not a lot of stuff getting done here at the “garden!” I haven’t had a bug kick me this bad in a long time, at least there’s some good movies out there to keep me amused!

Cool list. The only one I’ve seen is Superman. This was a slow year for me for movies for some reason.

I have only seen #3, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 11, and they were great!
I was given the Complete Friends DVD Collection for Christmas, so I am now “waiting” to get sick, so I can have the excuse of watching them all!

I haven’t seen any of those movies. We were just saying a few days agao… the last time we’d seen a movie in a theater was over 5 years ago when I was expecting my first child… three kids later, movies are a luxury!

You made me curious of the first three ones – thanks for the tip.
The Rose is the only one I have seen and that was of course fantastic yes.

I preferred the book to the movie when it came to The Devil Wears Prada. If you haven’t read it yet – and assuming you enjoy reading when you’re under the weather – you may want to check it out.

I have read about six on your list…
The Rose an oldy but a goody,I haven’t watched it for a long time, so think next time I go to the video store I will hire it.
Hope you are feeling better, it’s good to relax and veg out when not well…

I’ve seen most of these movies. I just watched the Prada movie last weekend and I really enjoyed it, a bit of a twist compared to the book but entertaining and mostly true to the novel. Meryl Streep was divine as usual and she proved it with her Golden Globe.
Checkouot my T13 when you get the chance.

I’ve seen about half of these. I have to agree with you on Nanny McPhee and the Illusionist. I thought they were both enchanting films.
Hope you’re feeling better!
Happy Saturday!
