It’s been an interesting few days. Big D and I had doctors appointments, with a gastroenterologist, lots of fun, let me tell you! Like everything we do, we even go to the doctor together! LOL I actually had an appointment a month ago with this doctor but had to cancel and then when D was being sent to him we made it for the same day, so much easier! Besides, getting Big D to the doctor is like pulling teeth, so I knew if I had an appointment at the same time, he’d go! Devious, ain’t I?!

Big D was scheduled for a minor procedure this morning, an endoscope to dilate his esophagus. He’s been having a very hard time swallowing lately and this should help a lot. He scared us Christmas day when he choked bad enough that I thought we’d have to take him to the hospital. He’s doing good now, resting with a sore throat but he says he feels a difference already. I’m taking care of the big guy tonight, babying him just a little, you know how these big guys are!

It’ll be my turn on the 19th to undergo a procedure, so then he care take care of me. I tell you going to the doctors is no fun, they always want to do something that’s invades your privacy!!
