1. What a week! It was a week of fun, friends, and lots of laughs. I’m exhausted. It’ll take me days to get my energy back. Amazing how a “vacation” will wipe you out!! You need a vacation from your vacation!
2. While in Nashville I had the honor of meeting my dear friend and fellow blogger, Jennifer, for lunch! We had a blast, talked for several hours and hated to depart. She is one sweet lady and I treasure her friendship!

3. I was so excited to find someone that I hadn’t seen in over 25 years while at the church conference I was attending. I recognized her from up in the stands, she was sitting on the floor of the arena, and after looking at her for some time, I finally told my hubby I was going to see if it was her. It was and we had a wonderful little reunion on the stadium floor!
4. I also FINALLY met face to face a dear friend, Lightseeker, a fellow blogger, but also someone who was at the same conference! We have been friends for quite awhile, and so this meeting meant alot to us!! Notice that we took our picture in front of the Jack Daniels concession…..yep, we were at a church conference….who say’s we don’t have a great sense of humor?!

5. Nashville was a really interesting town. When I say interesting I mean, there were all types walking around! There was never a dull moment!
6. One our way to eat one night, this is what I saw….

Haven’t a clue…but he was cute!
7. If you are ever in Nashville, be sure to go eat at “Tazza” on Church Street!! This place is awesome! We ate there several times, it was that good!!! And for me to recommend a restaurant, you know it’s good!
8. Bubba was in heaven in Nashville since we were on Broadway, and that’s where Tootsie’s and many of the other famous places are where so many singers got their start. He spent Saturday afternoon roaming from one to another listening to the musicians, then cruising the shops, like Ernest Tubbs Record Store. He had a ball.

9. Something I learned….women will wear uncomfortable shoes for the sake of fashion. My feet were killing me by the end of the week!!! But boy did they look good!!
10. I started a baby afghan while in Nashville. I needed something to do during those boring business sessions.
My cousin’s baby is due in December, so it was the perfect time to start one. It’s turning out really pretty!
11. We are in the process of looking for a new automobile. I’ll keep you posted….it could be as soon as this weekend! Woo Hoo!
12. I’m a hugger, and this past week I hugged alot of people…well, I think all that hugging got me in trouble! I am sick now! Sore throat, achy, headache, the works….I guess I hugged someone that was sick. Oh well, I’ll live and I’ll continue to be a hugger!
13. It’s always fun to go away, and this was a really fun trip. To see family ( my grandparents!) and friends, old and new, but let me tell you, it sure does feel good to get back to the comfort of your own home! Now to rest up till our cruise!!!

I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Nashville. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. And I’m glad you were able to meet up with blogging buddies and old friends!

Nashville is a neat place. My friend lives there and works in the music business. She’s always loading Jacob up with cds of known and unknown artists (which several are now big hits). He loves it… and enjoys the “Meet and Greet” concerts she can work out… for free. It’s a child’s playground!
Sorry your sick. I’m a hugger, too… and sometimes it’s worth getting sick lovin’ on so many!
Happy T13! My list’s up!

Sounds like fun, glad you had a good trip, and that’s cool to meet up with other bloggers.
You know, I live in the South and there’s only about 2 or 3 places left that I want to visit that we haven’t been to, but Nashville is one of them!
Have a great day!

Nashville is one of my favorite cities. Now we are way on the left coast so I have a feeling our visits there will be less frequent.
