Thursday Thirteen #27 - My Reading List

TT_books.jpg

    1. Jewels of the Sun by Nora Roberts, first book in the trilogy of books centered in Ireland! I was sold when I read Ireland..looking forward to this one!

    2. Tears of the Moon by Nora Roberts, second in the trilogy

    3. Heart of the Sea by Nora Roberts, third of the trilogy

    4. Blue Dahlia, by Nora Roberts

    5. Full Tilt by Janet Evanovich, part of the Full series - She is becoming one of my favorite authors! I finished her whole Stephanie Plum series, all 12 of them…they are great! I can’t wait for the 13th to come out!

    6. Full Speed by Janet Evanovich, third of the Full series.

    7. Full Blast by Janet Evanovich, fourth in the series….there are more, but I don’t have those yet.

    8. Faking It by Jennifer Crusie - I have never read anything by this author but this book looked interesting.

    9. The Ladies Farm by Viqui Litman, this one looks like it will be a light, fun read. I picked it since it was centered in Fort Worth.

    10. Lost Boy Lost Girl by Peter Straub, this is a different book for me, but it look good, kinda scary…I’ll have to read it when I know Big D is not going out of town! )

    11. Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil by John Berendt, now that I have seen Savannah I have to read this book!!!

    12. Larger Than Death by Lynne Murray, I found these books interesting, they are centered on plus-sized women. I’ll let you know if it’s good or not.

    13. Large Target by Lynne Murray

So there you have it, my reading list! Since I belong to Paperback Swap I haven’t bought any of these by the way! How cool is that? If you are a reader, check out Paperback Swap for yourself!! Click this button….

I haven’t read any of those books, but I’m a big fan of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum books — still need to read the latest one though!

I now wish I’d saved every Roberts book I’ve read. There have been very few that I wasn’t totally satisfied. I don’t care for her Robb sci-fi series, however.

I’ve got to finish the Stephanie Plum series by Evanovich….. I need to clone myself so I have time for everything I want to do.

Music is perfect — I could just leave your blog up and fall asleep.

ps. I think Roberts did clone herself. Go to her home page norarobert.com and she has all her books by titles or trilogies.Who could ever find the time to write all of those ?

I’m waiting for Angels Fall — I think I’ve read everything else.

#11-I tried to read this several years ago, and just couldn’t get into it. THe other day I was in the bookstore and looking at it and mentally added it to my list of stuff to read soon.

    Thursday Thirteen: Miss Stupidity 2006

    #51

Indonesia should not send Miss Nadine Chandrawinata to the Miss Universe 2006 beauty pageant, not because I agree with those hypocrites, nor because she did not win there, but because:

She is GORGEOUS, but she has no Indonesian looks.

    She is …

I am a voracious reader, so this list is right up my alley! I’ve read some of the Plum books by Janet Evanovich (I’m pacing myself because I don’t want to finish them all and be waiting a year for the new one!). I have not tried any of hers from the “Full” series though, are they similar to the Stephanie Plum ones?

I’m going to put that Nora Roberts Ireland trilogy on my library list, thanks for the info. I love reading books about England, Scotland and Ireland! )

Fantastic T13, right up my alley! Have a great day, mine is up too…

    July 27th, 2006 at 2:29 pm

My reading list contains Maisy and any lift the flap books:( I used to read a romance novel a night, but after kids, they won’t give me any time to read. But books aren’t going anywhere, and the kids will only be little once, so one day I’ll have all the time in the world!

I must sadly admit that I do not read! Its not that I cant, I just can never find the time. And a book has to capture me from the very begining or I will never pick it up again. If you find any of these to be excellent, please let me know, and I just may have to pick it up! I could use a break every now and then!

Like Nora Roberts, myself… Great list, will defnintely check my local library for some of them… Takes time to get new editions though…

    July 28th, 2006 at 11:29 pm

ha ha I’m reading Jewels of the Sun right now except I forgot it at the cottage a few weeks ago. So I grabbed another book from my bookshelf of my Mum’s that I had brought back from the cottage last year. It’s called Firefly Summer by Maeve Binchy and I’m really enjoying it. Another Irish story you might like too!
