DOORS

This picture is one I took while in Chicago for my cousins wedding last October. Big D and I were walking along Michigan one evening, enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown and we happened upon the Tribune Building. I loved the way the lights cast a glow on the building. I think the doorway is a work of art, and there are “doors” there so it works for this theme! Matter of fact, the whole bulding is a work of art. Here is a wider view of the building….

And here’s a detail shot of the archway above the doors….

Right after I took these photo’s we were hit up by a panhandler, Big D was not too thrilled about it, I just laughed, because I knew I was truly back in my hometown!
Happy Saturday!!

Very nice! Architecture amazes me! How they build these ornate things is awesome.
This reminded me that I have some pictures of church doors in France like this that I could have shown but I like my open doorway theme anyways.

OH that is beautiful. It must have been an awesome wedding.
Mines finally up, as I slept in. Went to “Lake House” last night. The movie was great. I was so afraid they’d end it badly. It was a good ending.
You and yours have a wonderful Saturday!
