Ireland!! I have always wanted to go to the Emerald Isle, we are hoping that for are 25th anniversary, which is in two years we will make this trip! I want to visit castles, pubs, and all the wonderful things that Ireland has to offer.

Scotland, while I am over in Ireland I want to hop over to Scotland and let my dear husband play golf! Plus I would love to see men in kilts!

Wales, part of the Ireland, Scotland trip. Wales is where my ancestors are from. I would love to do a little genealogy search while there.

Oooo la la….the city of love, Paris! I want to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, the Pont-Neuf which is the oldest remaining bridge in Paris depicted in a famous painting by Renoir. I want to stroll down the Champs-Elysees. And of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without going to The Louvre!

Japan, I would love to go when the cherry blossoms are blooming!! But honestly, I would go anytime!

Plus I could meet my friend, Miss Wings!

Fiji….it just looks so beautiful and relaxing! I think it would be a great place to spend a few weeks!

An Alaskan cruise – Big D and I have been wanting to do this for a while now. It will be something we do in the next year or so.

Martha’s Vineyard – I have always wanted to visit this storybook town. I mean who wouldn’t after seeing Jaws!!

Maine, not only does it seem charming, but also I want to eat as much Maine lobster as I can!! Plus you can whale watch and visit lighthouses!

New York City, need I explain why?! We had to postpone our trip to NYC last February due to my dad having bypass surgery. We still need to make it up there. I want to see a Broadway play, preferably “WICKED,” and I want a frozen Hot Chocolate from Serendipity3. I want to do so much that we will have to take at least a week to fit it all in!!

Switzerland – What a beautiful place! The Swiss Alps are so beautiful, I could be Heidi!! And let us not forget the chocolate!!

And last, but certainly not least….Venice, Italy! Nothing would be more fun than visiting the beautiful architecture and sample the wonderful food of Italy!

we share similar roots….English (mommy dearest), Welsh (my step dad), Irish and English again (my darling husband). Someday we will be there too visiting the ancestral family castle in the town that bears the family name.
May we both get to travel to these places.

I’ve been to a few of yours – all of Ireland, Scotland & Wales are beautiful & steeped in history. Paris, i can do without to be honest, but it’s good to have seen all the major places there. Venice is definitely somewhere I’d like to go back to – we went for carnivale in febuary, which meant there was no smell;-) All the rest, I have to get to still – i have every intention of manageing some day.

What a great list. I love travelling! Ireland is fabulous, you will love it. I might never go again because a former boyfriend of mine was Irish, and Husband has never really gotten over that (!).

Oh, can I go? Can I? Please, please, please…I’ll be your best friend (as Lazy Daisy would say). I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. That’s my ancestry.
We actually had a trip planned to Maine one year but it fell through at the last minute.

I’ve been to Alaska (do it!) and Maine, and NYC is my favorite place on earth.
I will be Italy (alas, not Venice but the Amalfi Coast – near Naples) in October. I’ll let you know how much I love it. And Ireland, well, my heart live there even though I have yet to visit. How ironic that the song playing now is by Enya, who is Irish.

Are we, like, twins separated at birth? I want to go to almost every single one of those, and the highest on my list are Scotland, England and Wales. Followed closely by France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Sigh…. One day, I hope we both make it to all of the fabulous places on our list!
