I just found out I’m one of the featured 13′ers at the Hub. So if this is your first time here at the garden, I say, “Welcome!” If you are a regular, I say, “Welcome Back!”
1. Let me first say thank you for checking up on me and my back. I am doing much better!
2. My dear friend and adopted sister, Lazy Daisy is an angel in disguise. Friends like her are not easy to find and when you do, it’s wonderful!
3. I had some computer problems as I mentioned before over the weekend. Talk about going through blog withdrawal. I did get alot of reading done though!
4. Word of advice, when asking for help in support forums (went in there when I couldn’t get on my blog over the weekend) be advised that there are those who will give you unwanted advice. So far I have been told that my blog was too busy, had lousy music and it was rude to have it on there, & too many “things” on my sidebars. Thanks…I needed to know that..and who’s blog is it?
5. I wish people would not just look at one side of situations. Enough said.
6. Ok, enough of the bummer posting…..let’s look at the lighter side of my post!
7.
Miss Priss turned 18 on Tuesday and we went out with her friends to one of her favorite restaurants, “Texas Roadhouse.” It was a fun night and she really enjoyed it. My baby is no longer a baby, this is making me a bit sad.
8.

We watched “Failure To Launch” what a hilarious movie! Matthew McConaughey’s character reminds me of Bubba…we laughed so hard watching this movie! Good movie, if you haven’t seen it yet, watch it. But beware…..Terry Bradshaw’s butt is not pretty!!
9.

Another movie we watched was “Eight Below.” This was an awesome movie that really tugs at your heart, especially if you love dogs! What makes it such an amazing movie is that it is based on a true story. Great movie for the whole family.
10.

And one more movie review…”End of the Spear” we saw this one the other night and it was one of those movies that just makes you go….wow. Knowing that this story is the true story of five missionaries that were killed in the eastern rainforest of Ecuador by the Waodani, makes one realize how much some sacrifice for their beliefs. Very good movie!
11. Anyone watching “So You Think You Can Dance?” We are since one of the gals on there, Ashley, went to school with my son. She has done fairly well, but hasn’t been able to strut her stuff yet, that is till last night when she and her partner had choosen hip hop as their style of dance….she did awesome! It’s been interesting to watch her journey through this show.
12. Back to movies….I can’t wait for these to come out:

Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Mans Chest
Nothing better than a sexy pirate movie for the summer! I love Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, so we’ll be seeing this one when it opens!

The Lady in the Water
M. Night Shyamalan makes good movies….I can’t wait to see this one! The previews look great for this one!
13. Big D is taking me away this weekend…he says we need a getaway, I couldn’t agree more! We’re headed for the mountains! I’ll have pictures!

Hi, nice to see some randomness
I’m glad to hear that you are feeling better and that “Miss Priss” had a fun b-day (Texas Roadhouse…YUM!) I know what you mean about support forums. I went on this weekend because my blog was loading strangely in some versions of internet explorer and I got some unsolicited advice that was kind of rude and had nothing to do with anything. Oh well
My T13 is up!

i don’t think your site is too busy or has lousy music…this is my first visit but i rather like it.
i’m also looking forward to pirates!

We took our kids to see Eight Below in the theatre. I agree. It is such a good movie. And I cannot wait for Pirates of the Carribean. I’m taking two hours off of work to go see it. I’m a little, teeny bit obsessed with Johnny Depp.
I am also a huge M. Night Shyamalan fan. You always have to watch his movies more then once so you can find all the clues once you’ve seen the ending. I love the suspence.
said:
im looking forward to Lady in the Water too
i love his movies and have watched The Village about 6 times
