I can’t believe it’s Friday already! Where did the week go, somebody please tell me? We have been getting Miss Priss ready to leave this afternoon for a week to work as a camp counselor at church camp. She is looking forward to it so much, she has all her “stuff” planned out and I have to say I was quite impressed when she showed me all of it! She’s quite together that gal of mine! I’m also a little nervous, we are letting her and her best friend drive down to camp this time on their own, they wanted to do a “girl’s road trip kind of thing” and I have to say I’m a nervous wreck. Camp is about two and a half hours away, we have set some strict rules of the road for them and I’ll be saying some prayers till I hear from her that she made it there safe and sound! It’s a mom thing, you know?

Big D is still working hard on his college Statistic’s class, so he informed me he’ll need a break this weekend, he want’s to go see the movie “Cars.” Not my first choice for a romantic evening, but hey he’s the one who needs the break so we’ll be seeing “Cars!” Bubba heard this and piped up that he’ll be tagging along…three adults heading to a kids movie…yeah, we rock!

So I shared one of my gardenia pictures earlier in the week. I want to tell you I have two large gardenia bushes on the side of my house next to the garage door, so when you walk in and out you are welcomed with the heavenly scent of gardenias…it’s really wonderful! Also in the same flowerbed is a butterfly bush, it’s actually huge, and I need to cut it back this year but let me close this post with a picture from that.
