“QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN!”

This is a picture taken on Tuesday when we went up to Kennesaw Mountain. Though this mountain may not be the largest mountain, and it may not be the most impressive mountain, it’s still our mountain! This picture means a lot to me because I conquered the mountain!! Last year I wasn’t in the shape or health to walk up to the top, this year…..well, there I am on the top, and feeling quite proud of myself! Not only did I make it but look….

That’s my dad, who had triple bypass in February! We are quite a team, huh?

So much for wordless……LOL!!

When we moved to Atlanta, the first thing we did w/ the kids, before even having a place to move into, was to climb to the top of that mountain…

    Now in NYC…
    Cheers

Okay, I could be a “nag” and say, “WHAT? I thought this was “Wordless” Wednesday! )

But reading the post with the pictures really got to me. You have been through a lot, your dad, too. How neat for the both of you to share such an accomplishment! You’ve inspired me to think of something I could do as a “goal” accomplishement when I reach a better state of health.

AND you’ve made me miss Kennesaw Mtn. It’s been a while since we’ve been there ourselves. Nice area.

    May 24th, 2006 at 8:39 am

Yay!!! You both did it! It looks like heaven up there on the top. )
