1. Miss Priss was honored in a banquet last night and received her cords for graduation for the Academy of Tourism and Hospitality. It was quite nice, and the students planned the whole banquet themselves. They really did a great job! I was very proud! Big D missed it since he was in Seattle on business. 
2. Miss Priss and I worked on her graduation announcements over the weekend…talk about a job! Insert this, insert that, stick this here, stick that here, yada yada! But we finished and now family and friends will know she is graduating!
3. Bubba is really liking his new job! Though this first week he’s been working like a hound dog getting use to everything and not getting much sleep! But that will change once he gets the hang of it and at least he likes it!
4. Like I said above, Big D is in Seattle….hate it when he travels because I don’t sleep very well with him gone. Especially after we had “creepy fake ADT guy” case our house!!
5. You ask, what creepy fake ADT guy? Well, the one that came to our door trying to tell us that we could be a demo home for the “newest” system they have, blah blah…and when he asked to see our system, dear hubby let him in! (I know…so don’t even say it!) But when the guy kept insisting on personal info and a $99 deposit, Big D shooed him out.
6. I, on the other hand, was freaked out…so Big D called ADT and asked if they had door-to-door sales going on, and if they had this special going on. And the answer…..a big fat NO!!
7. Good thing our house has security lights all around it so it lights up like Fort Knox! And our town is the only town that has the law that you MUST own a gun….and yes, I know how to use it! 
8. So now you know why I am not sleeping so well….I hear every single little bump in the night! I’ll be glad when Big D gets home tonight!
9. Looks like we are going on another cruise in October! Woo Hoo!! This one to Progreso, Yucatan, & Cozumel, Mexico! Going with my dad and step mom and all the family so that should be fun. I have been officially bitten by the cruise bug!
10. I am really tickled pink that my grandparents read my blog….how cool is that? So I just will take this moment to say, “Hi grandpa and grandma! Love you guys!”
11. With all the rain we have been getting my flowers are doing great and my lawn is so green! So here’s one more flower picture…..(I hope you aren’t sick of them!)
12. The only bad thing about this weather is that it triggers my migraines. That is not good. Been feeling under the weather all week, and my blogging has suffered.
13. I’m happy to have my own domain name now…I feel so grown up! LOL I’m still getting use to WordPress…so bear with me, I know there’s been some kinks. But I have to say, I like it here! Be sure to update your bookmarks!

That is SO scary about the ADT guy!! Thank goodness your husband was able to shoo him out and nothing else happened. I can’t help but think of all the possible scenarios *shudder*. Thank God you are all OK. I need to be more vigilant about looking through the peephole before I open my door!

How scary about the fake ADT man. I had an Apex man visit me last summer. He was also going door to door, but it turns out he was legit since we signed up with them and our security system works great. But, my situation could have been like yours and I’d have been none the wiser.
I know how you feel about your hubby being gone and not being able to sleep. My hubby is a restaurant manager and sometimes he has to work until midnight. I can’t sleep without him either, and sometimes I stay up until he gets home (which I shouldn’t do, but I can’t help it). I hope yours has a safe trip back home.
Good luck with your cruise, I hope you have a wonderful time! I’ve never been on one, I’m so jealous.

In our town, you have to have a permit to go shopping door to door. The city encourages you to call and check with them/report anyone who doesn’t.
I have a migraine right now, so I feel your pain. Literally.
