Thirteen Random Things to Catch Up On!
1. I am meeting with another great blogger today,
Jennifer of Happy at Home! I’m so excited! Of course I will have pictures and an update after our lunch!
2. Bubba has a new job!! We are so excited! It is with a great company and it is a sweet job with some great perks! They will provide him with a car, gas card (they even cover his personal use gas what a great perk, especially in this day!), a laptop, palm pilot, his meals when he travels, everything! He is working for a sports memorabilia company, right up his alley! It was an answer to pray, he was not happy with his current job, it was not a very pleasant atmosphere to work in.
3. Miss Priss was interviewed by a Washington D.C. reporter! The reporter had read on my blog that Miss Priss was not attending her prom, and she was doing an article on teens who chose not go to prom. She contacted me and asked if she could talk to my daughter, I felt ok with it and so did Miss Priss. When the article comes out, I’ll let you know!
4. If you haven’t guessed by now, I love flowers…..so here’s another picture of a rose I took while visiting with Big D’s grandmother in East Texas:
5. My oldest step-brother is planning a camping trip with all the family for sometime in June. I haven’t been camping in over 25 years!! But we are looking at places that have condos/cabins….so the term camping may not really apply. LOL But we will be fishing, boating, hiking and all those fun things! We are really looking forward to it!
6. While we were in Texas I was able to get some real Tex-Mex food!! Man I miss that! Georgia just does not have good Mexican food…not at all!!
7. On my flight home on Monday, there were obnoxious drunk people on board the plane. Apparently they were going to a work related seminar. One woman was quite sauced, I don’t think she impressed her boss to much, as she made advances to him in a loud giggly schoolgirl kinda way. I’m guessing that she’s going to regret the five drinks she kept bragging about! I know she irritated the fire outta me!
8. Miss Priss got her Senior Portraits last week…..here’s just a couple of them….doesn’t she look beautiful!

10. I can’t believe my baby is graduating high school!! Look at her….she’s no longer a little girl, but a beautiful woman! Lord help me!
11. I have been watching American Idol now all season and I honestly think Paula needs to enter rehab! Goodness that woman is in need of some serious intervention! She is a train wreck! It’s really embarrassing to watch her…I actually feel sorry for her. Also, I’m so glad Kelly was sent home…her “I’m just a little country hick” act was getting so old!
12. Just another TV tidbit that is bugging me… is anyone else sad to see 7th Heaven go off the air? It’s one of the only good wholesome shows on TV still and of course it’s gotta go *insert sarcasm*!
13. And last but not least, just one more picture I took while on the road while traveling from East Texas to Dallas…..
