With Spring Comes New Things!

I just love Spring…with it comes so many new things!! I was sitting in the office at the house just looking out the window when I spotted this out in one of the islands in the front lawn…

So I watched the little bunny for awhile and it hopped over to the dogwood tree….

I swear she knew I was watching her from inside as she sat up and looked straight at me!

I didn’t want to scare her, so I cautiously went to the front door and slowly opened it….she never moved….thankfully! I crept down the hill a ways to get a closer look….

As I zoomed in I noticed something moving underneath her! Oh now, I am excited….I’m like a little kid, so I try to sneak up just a little closer….dangit, I spooked her! But….what a surprise to behold! Look what I see…

Four little bunnies….Aren’t they just the cutest!

Momma did come back and babies are doing fine. I can keep an eye on them from my desk, and as a mom, you know I do!

How darling…baby bunnies. When I was small my dad brought one in from the field because he had ran over the nest while farming. My brother and I tried to keep it alive with an eye dropper with milk, but it did not survive. We tried hard…bless it…so small…and no mommy!!!

              Awwwwwwww so sweet and soft.
We used to have baby bunnies on the lawn down our longgggg driveway.
Not the right season at the moment for that.
I directed myself here today lol.
