No Monday Memory today….I had an appointment this morning, so I was up early and out the door for that. Big D went with me and it didn’t take near as long as we had thought so we went out for breakfast! It was so nice, just me and my hubby enjoying breakfast together at the diner! Yes, I said diner…we have a really neat place here that reminds me of the diners back in Chicago. The food is fantastic and let me just say if you go for dessert…you will not be disappointed! They have Monster desserts! 5-6 layer cakes, HUGE…and YUMMY! Definetly not on my diet! Ok, back to topic, so after our yummy breakfast Big D headed back to work and I decided I needed to do alittle shopping therapy.
Headed over to Homegoods and found some great frames for pictures from our trip. And I found a great lawn figure for my front porch of a fairy leaning on a welcome sign. There was a little dragonfly on it also but a wing was broken off…but where the dragonfly was I could snip it off with wirecutters and it would look great. So I asked if they would take more off it since it was damaged, and they did! So I got an additional $5 off! Woo Hoo! I love it when I can save a buck!
I’m on my way to plant pretty flowers in pots right now. Once they are done I’ll post some pictures to show you my fairy and flowers!
Have a great day and though I’m not doing the Monday Memory, visit those who are, blogroll on the right!

Hey babe, did you get your flowers planted or did you run out of steam! Mr.Wonderful is mowing the back yard as I write. He complains but I secretly think he enjoys riding on the mower while he surveys his domain! Glad your test went quickly hope you get results soon.

Sounds like a very productive day with some nice “close time” with your Hubby, too!
I love the picture of the fairy that you posted…I’ll be anxious to see the three-dimensional one in a photo and the flowers in the pots. Spring…The BestSeason Of All!
